ExtraOrdinary Horizons is one of the few companies/organisations in Singapore to provide Sign Language Interpreting Services to bridge communication barriers between Deaf and Hearing.
Sign Language Interpreting is the interpreting from Sign Language to Spoken Language or vice versa. It includes note-taking services and other forms of communication support.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
ExtraOrdinary Horizons defines "customer" as any person who is the requester of Sign Language Interpreting Service, or person(s) for whom the service is employed.
ExtraOrdinary Horizons Sign Language Interpreter is not obligated to answer to the request of Sign Language Interpretation Service by any other person(s) who do not fit the above definition.
ExtraOrdinary Horizons reserve the rights to reject the request due to availability of our Interpreters.
Booking of Sign Language Interpreting Service
All booking are to be made online. All the requests by calls and messaging across all different platforms are considered as the booking.
Customers are advised to make their booking for Sign Language Interpreting Service at least 7 working days in advance to ensure the availability of a sign language interpreter.
Preferred signing system and/or spoken language(s) used by the Deaf and/or Hearing must be indicated in the booking form.
An additional charges of S$30 is payable to ExtraOrdinary Horizons if the booking is made less than 48 hours before the appointment time.
Cancellation of Sign Language Interpreting Service
Cancellation of Sign Language Interpreting Service booking must be done at least 48 hours before the assignment, via email to with the email subject: CANCELLATION OF SL INTERPRETING SERVICE (date, time).
A late cancellation charge of S$30 is payable to ExtraOrdinary Horizons if the cancellation is less than 48 hours before the appointment time.
The cancellation charge of S$30 is payable to ExtraOrdinary Horizons if the cancellation is made after the last minute booking.
