SgSL 102 Course
Synopsis
The SINGAPORE SIGN LANGUAGE SgSL 102 COURSE builds upon the foundations established in SgSL 101, by expanding learners' vocabulary, conversation abilities, and understanding of SgSL grammar. This course aims to develop basic communicative competence in SgSL for everyday interactions, such as greetings, asking simple questions, and discussing hobbies. Students will engage interactive activities to practice their signing skills in a supportive environment, enhancing their confidence in using SgSL for basic communication.
Learning Outcome
Upon successful completion of the SgSL 102 course, students will be able to:

Demonstrate an expanded SgSL vocabulary across a variety of everyday topics.

Use simple and compound sentence structures to communicate ideas more clearly.

Engage in basic conversations, including asking questions, providing information, and expressing preferences.

Apply appropriate non-manual features to support meaning.

Participate confidently in structured dialogues and role-play activities.

Demonstrate increased understanding of Deaf culture and respectful communication practices within the Deaf community.
Certificates of attendance, in the form of electronic documents, will be issued to students upon completion of the course.These certificates will be delivered via email to the registered email address of each student.
